주한라트비아대사관은 대한민국 학생, 연구자, 썸머스쿨 참여자들에게 라트비아 정부가 제공하는 장학금을 홍보하고자 합니다.
 
라트비아와 대한민국 간 교육과 과학 협력 상호 협정에 따라, 그리고 양 국간의 학생 교환을 증진시키기 위해 라트비아 정부는 2018/2019학년도 대한민국의 학생, 연구자, 썸머스쿨 참여자들에게 세 가지 종류의 장학금을 제공합니다.:
-              라트비아 고등교육기관에서의 교육을 위한 라트비아 장학금 (학부생 1학년부터, 석사 혹은 박사 과정 학생 / 지원 마감일 2018년 4월 1일)
-              라트비아 고등교육기관 연구활동 지원금 (연구진, 교수진들에게 최대 5달 간 수여 / 지원 마감일 2018년 4월 1일)
-              2018년도 라트비아 썸머 스쿨 참여 장학금 (지원 마감일 2018년 5월 4일)
 
온라인 지원 폼이 라트비아 국가개발교욱국 홈페이지인 www.viaa.gov.lv/scholarships 에 열려 있습니다.
 
주한라트비아대사관은 본 자료를 귀 대학교 학생들 및 연구진, 교수진들에게 배포해 홍보해 주시기를 정중하게 요청드립니다.

Dear Sir/Madam,
 
It is our pleasure to contact you from the Latvian Embassy in Seoul.
We would like to introduce Latvian government scholarships offered for Korean students, researchers and summer school participants.
 
In accordance with the bilateral government agreement between the Republic of Latvia and the Republic of Korea on cooperation in the field of Education, and to enhance student exchanges between our countries, Latvian government offers three types of scholarships to Korean students, researchers and summer school participants for the academic year of 2018/2019: 
-              Scholarships for studies at Latvian Higher Education Institutions (1 year bachelor’s, master’s or PhD studies, application deadline 1 April 2018);
-              Fellowships for research work in Latvian Higher Education Institutions (for academic staff up to 5 months, application deadline 1 April 2018);
-              Scholarships for participation in summer schools in Latvia in 2017 (application deadline 4 May 2018).
 
The Applications are open at the Latvian State Education Development Agency website here: www.viaa.gov.lv/scholarships.
 
The Embassy would like to kindly ask to spread this information among your university students and academic staff.
