Dormitory

In order to increase the acceptance of students, there are four Purum and one Shinpyeong dormitories, which are built by KIT, and three Ourm dormitories built by a private investment project (BTL). A total of eight dormitories can accommodate 2,525 students, and the acceptance rate is 38%. The dormitories focus on thorough maintenance, having convenient facilities of three dining rooms for dormitory students, a kitchen for foreigners, a convenience store, a cafeteria, a laundromat, a gym, and a reading room.

Dormitory Rules & Regulations

In order to keep public order, resident of KIT dormitory should follow rules and regulations below.

  1. Try to make healthy dormitory culture in an orderly way
  2. Try to keep the rooms & facilities clean, and dress neatly
  3. Do not transfer your residential rights to others, and visitor access is restricted
  4. Do not exchange rooms randomly, and do not change dormitory facilities without permission
  5. Do not bring dangerous articles into the dormitory
  6. Do not use personal heaters or electronic/gas cooking machinery
  7. Do not disturb public order by drinking and playing cards
  8. Do not cause a loud noise by playing instruments or singing loudly.
  9. You cannot have pets in the dormitory rooms
  10. Commercial transaction is not allowed
  11. Dormitory closing time is from 1AM to 5AM
  12. Both of male and female students should respect each other's living space
  13. Smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking area outside of dormitory rooms
