2026 K-GKS Admission Call for Graduate School Studying at KIT, Korea

 

We are pleased to inform you of 2026 K-GKS (K-Global Korea Scholarship) Guidelines for Master’s candidates here in Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea.

As the one and only national engineering specialized university in Korea, we will be able to nominate candidates up to 5 for this K-GKS admission. This might be a great opportunity for you to be able to study in Korea with a full regional government scholarship and to settle down with decent jobs supported by Gyeongsangbuk-do and KIT.

Please see attached for further information and if there are any candidates interested in this program, please send me one original application document package by post(or in person) no later than April 17th, (Friday), 2026. Your original application documents must be delivered to my office by the deadline. No online application is available. School does NOT accept overdue documents.

 

1. Scholarship Duration

 

Program	Master’s Degree
Period of Scholarship	One year of Korean language program + Two years of degree program

 

*Doctoral Degree is NOT available for the year of 2026.

 

2. Eligibility

 

Please refer to the attached K-GKS Application Guidelines

 

3. Obligation for K-GKS recipients

 

- K-GKS recipients are obligated to either find a job at local companies or pursue higher degree at universities located in Gyeongsangbuk-do and to maintain residency in Gyeongsangbuk-do for three years after one’s graduation.

 

 

All required documents must be written by computer typing and send us one original document by post only (no e-mail application will be accepted). We don’t have online application for this K-GKS admission.

(e.g., KIT internal graduate school admission, visa renewal, change of visa type, etc.) The list is not all inclusive, and scholars are encouraged to bring any documents that are considered important to them during their studies in Korea.
